Genesis 2:18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for F13 him.” 19 So out of the ground the Lord God formed F14 every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam F15 there was not found a helper fit for him. 21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. 22 And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made F16 into a woman and brought her to the man. 23 Then the man said,

“This at last is bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called Woman,
because she was taken out of Man.” F17

24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.

Verses 22-24 are the wedding. God ordained marriage. He wouldn't have it any other way. Verse 24 is said at ALL Christian weddings.

Who would perform the ceremony? They were the only two humans then. I hope you are not joking, cause some things should not be questioned. God regarded them as a married couple due to the unusual circumstances then. How can you explain allowing each twin marrying the other twin's sister or brother? Cause this is the only way to reproduce.

God married them when He gave the woman to Adam as his wife!
All those trappings -vows, parties, etc. came much, much later.

But of course.
The friendly Catholic priest down the corner officiated.

Or was it a Baptist.
Perhaps a Pentecostal.
A Methodist, that was it.

Since they were put together by God himself, presumably no man (there weren't any other men, anyway) could put them asunder.

I figure it was what would currently be called a common-law marriage.
