I am a female talking to a male and one night, after knowing him for two weeks he writes...."Pases" buenas noches. Does it mean I pass a test or a proof that shows I am trustworthy or worthy to be in a relationship?

"[I hope that] you have a good night"

It's short for "Que pases buenas noches", where "que" means "that" and the verb "espero" or a similar one (I hope or I wish) is implied. "Pases" is the 2nd person singular, present subjunctive form of the verb "pasar" (to pass or spend in the sense of time). The subjunctive is often used with verbs that have a "hoping" or a "wishing" kind of meaning.

Sounds like very bad Spanish to me. Pasar means to pass, but pases means pass as a declaritive. Like Pass (in front of me)

he was saying to "have a good night." we say "pases" which in english means "pass" but when we (latinos) say it we mean - to go through a good night.

next time tell him "igualmente" pronounce e-gual-men-te
which means -same to you.

hope this helps!

It means you are desperately trying to read his mind. Don't scheme. ASK.
