I have known people who tell me they had found their soulmate, them relationship goes to pot, they met a new someone, then all the sudden that is their soulmate?
How many soulmates can one person have?

No, they're not really real. They're an illusion created by a rush of hormones to the brain.
With that said, romantic love can often, even usually grow into a real, close loving relationship. However, that could potentially happen with any one of thousands of people.

A soulmate is not THE ONE AND ONLY LOVE THAT's MEANT JUST FOR YOU. A soulmate is a person who's soul you are drawn to. If you believe in past lives, they are frequently people who have been close to you in previous lives. Your souls seek each other out. You can have many soulmates on many different levels. One of my dear friends and coworkers is my soul sister. And an ex of mine is a soulmate of mine -- no matter how much time has past we're always drawn to each other, not necessarily in a lover sort of way.

A person can only have one true soulmate. You will know it when you have the chemistry with the right person. Its a feeling like spider mans spider sense. Everything clicks and falls into place without either one of you trying to make that part of it happen. Then its real. Far too many couples today mistake infatuation and lust with that feeling, its not like that at all.

You can only have one soul mate.. cause u only have one soul... now your soul can connect with other souls on different levels.. but the mate to ur soul.. there's only one mate to a shoe, and the only way u can find another mate to match it unless u go to another store.. and what i mean by going to another store, meaning going to another world to find the mate, and as far as i know.. Earth is the only place where human being exist... so when ur ppl say they found their soulmate and the relationship goes downhill.. they don't actually know what and who their soulmate is, so that's why they keep trying to find one to match they soul.. and u should ask them about that to see how they respond, cause it's obvious the ppl who tell u they found they soulmate and has another person days later don't know what a soulmate is.

oooh another soulmate question.
I used to think so when i was young... but now i think it's too much of a fairy tale balony... but im telling you, there are people out there that would fit you more than others...recently i got together with a girl that is exactly my type, kinda met in a chance-like meeting... but i wouldnt say soulmates, but it just works.
I believe that you will meet people that will significantly effect your life for good or bad, but they will still help you grow and mature.
My ex and I, we were great together for 3 years, then we hurt each other quite a bit... she's still my bestfriend, and i have to say, she changed me and helped me learn a lot of life lessons. i know i was meant to find her, not a soulmate, but one of those significant people in my life.

Well i think that i have found my soul mate and i think that's my only one. The most i believe a person can have is at least three at the most. But its how many you need or have until you think you have found that one soul mate that you really love. It varies with each person and their personal beliefs. For example, some people don't believe in soulmates at all, but I definitely do. I think there's one special person out there for each of us, and if it's meant to be, we'll end up with them and live happily with them. :D

i believe we have a lifemate and a soulmate a soulmate is the one you are intimate with and the lifemate is the one you can tell absolutely everything to and discuss your soulmate with
