I got burnt by the oven a couple weeks ago and now it is almost all the way healed but leaving big scars and it is embarassing. They are on my arm and I feel like I can never wear short sleeve shirts again. Will aloe help to get rid of them?

Aloe helps the burn but pure vitamin E helps healing of the scars.

No Aloe won't but Vitamin E will help tremendously. Just poke a hole in the capsule and rub the oil into the skin. Also, Cocoa Butter is very good for scars.

If you have acne scars then get your dematologist to prescribe you Retin A. It really helped me. I used aloe vera few years back but i dint notice any difference. If you can't get Retin A then try using face wash or cleansers with Glycolic acid and AHA. Make sure to use sunblock when you go out in daylight because sunlight can also darken your scars. ( If you start using Retin-A, you CANNOT get pregnant since its not safe for the fetus)

ALOE;This plant is used to remove scars and protect from burns. There is one thing you need to know. To work a burn out you need to also work it from the inside. The way i work burns is.cool it down till the burn is gone. Then i use a moister lotion with vitamin E and aloe.as for the inside I eat fish that has oil base content ,milk, vegetable v-8 juice. This helps to restore the skin and anything left can be skin graft down.

Like the others said, vit E works good. But, what i found works even better is Mederma or go to your doctor and ask for a RX of Retin A-top(meaning cream). Use it 2x a day for about a month and the scares will basically disappear. But if you use Retin A-top, do NOT let the area be exposed to the sun!!! But it does work the best.
