It shouldn't have anything to do with her.
You should definitely tell your guy friend how you feel. He may have no idea. Or he may have an inkling, but doesn't know how to bring up the subject.
Put your cards on the table and tell him. Whatever will be, will be.

Well, if you truly love him then you will want him to be happy...and being with her is what makes him happy. That doesn't diminish the fact that it is painful for you to see the guy you love with someone else...of course it hurts. But you can't fault her for his feelings. Even if she weren't around, that would not guarantee that his feelings would be redirected toward you. For now, try to work through the pain and accept the fact that he is with someone else. Continue to offer your friendship and support if possible, because if things don't work out...he may seek you out for support - then who knows? Things could develop between you both from there.

If you are best friends with him, then tell him as a friend, If you keep your feelings inside, then it will just eat you up.
You have to know how you feel, he might feel the same way about you but is to shy to say anything about it, he probably feels the same way about you as you do him, so talk to him and be honest, and after the "talk", and you still are friends, then that is still wonderful!!!!
Either way, he will still respect you!
Communication is so very important in any relationship, or friendship!

DON'T HATE HER. DON'T HATE HIM. Come up front and forward with your feeling, tell him what is going on. And tell him that no matter the outcome, you want to be friends, that he is a valuable friend to you. Also, let your friend (the girl know) and tell her you are NOT in any means trying to ruin their relationship.

simple u dont hate her .... frndz hav to remain frndz coz lot of things u really dont care about ( like whom they talking to, r they meeting any other friend, what they buy, where they go n all that).. when it comes to a relationship u tend to bother about every bit n it spoils relationship if u weigh heavy on that..more over even after u being friend with a guy for long n now he is dating somebodyelse, its clear signal he saw only frnd in u...nothing more...

If you've known him that long & he never made a move, you should move on because you're not his type.
Try to avoid being with him, it will hurt less.
