Why don't white people ever sue blacks over "their" racial remarks? I am not racist but simply curious as to why there is such a double standard?

They think they are owed something because someone in their family was a slave at one point. Blah, Blah, Blah. Not you, nor your momma, or grandma, or great-grandma were slaves so I dont owe you jack sh!t. And besides my ancestors aren't from here originally but, I am white and if I was to say something, you can bet, a black person would point their finger and say, you have no right, your people enslaved mine. Bull sh!t, mine did no such thing.

I dont think we would be going through this right now if it was a black person that said a racial comment about a white person, we would just sack it up and move on with our life.

that's precisely the difficulty.. african individuals can call one yet another names and that's ok,, yet whilst a ecu american says it.. properly then that's racist. that's the properly-known that has been set ever by fact the Jessie Jackson's and Al Sharpton's of the worldwide have been beating it down the throats of ALL individuals (white or black) over the final 20 or so years and the media and politicians consume it up. If i've got been african american i wouldnt want all people (white or black) concerning me in a slang way... i dont like being called a cracka' the two yet im no longer gonna run out and sue somebody over it.

We can take it. Some whites think it might be deserved on some levels. We commited genocide of the Native American people, we enslaved the black Americans' anscestors. Some others let is slide because since we have basically conquered the planet, it's just playa hatin. Don't hate the player, hate the game. People who don't have much are more sensitive about their image. Look at the riots a few Danish cartoons started.

If the roles were reversed and it was a black person that made an unkind comment about a white person, unless that person was making the comment about me to my face, I'm intelligent enough to know that this person was just saying something unkind about another person or group of people--not singling me out personally. Frankly, I don't really give a rat's @ss what other races think about the white race. I'm happy who I am and you can call my people whatever you want--it'll roll of me like water off a duck's back.

I know , I watch the Comedy network or BET sometimes. The comedians are always saying things about white people. To me its funny. Why is it ok for rappers to say the things they say about blacks and their women and not get in trouble for it ????? I do not understand that. Something is wrong here. I think it's totally wrong to say racial remarks about either race. But I also don't agree with the public butt kissing people have to do to appease one race. Make one apology and move on.

Im not sure. I honestly feel that there are good people and ignorant people of all races. unfortunatly for us, the actions of the bad people stand out, the good never gets told, I think thats what keeps the racisun alive and kicking. If we as , the human race, could just get over our differences, we may just find things that we never thought possible. we need to acknolage the good in people and not just focus on the bad. Im not sure why we think we have to always point out eachouthers falts and differences. I guess we get it no matter what side of the fence were on. (LETS BURN DOWN THE FENCE)

Because historically, it has been the white man that has kept the black man down, so they feel they dont have the right to stand up to someone when they make a racist statement. In fact, some people think that being black gives you the right to be racist by default. I personally dont buy into all that racism bs, if someone says something rude, to me they are a jerk first and foremost.

As a whole, white culture isn't as prone to or accepting of emotionally volatile behavior. Therefore getting emotional over something as petty as name calling isn't on the program for us. It appears though that the complaints about the double standard are gonna reduce the whites to becoming emotional about name calling, thus lowering the level of acceptable behavior. Whites have emulated a negative trait of blacks and began whining about petty things. Rise above this nonsense or become as they are.

They don't have Al Sharpton....
Whites as a group are not a minority and were never prosecuted as a group, so they can't complain much. Even in Africa, they ran the show. Now is the pay back time.
Keep your opinion to yourself and keep apologizing for what the others of your group have done. And when it's done to you, don't bring it up because "you had it easy" and you'll be called names. It will take time to be equal.
It's the same about anti-semitism, anti- feminism.

Most, not all Blacks want to shift the blame for their lack of good jobs, or good housing, etc on the White people. I was talking to a local Chinese man who owns a restaurant; he never hires Blacks because he says they are lazy. If told to do something they don't want to do they cry discrimination. The Blacks are not the little darlings of society anymore.
