if he's dull than why would you even think about a relationship with him?
Looks will fade. His handsomeness will disappear in a few years.
If someone gives you their cell instead of their home number it usually means there is a woman there at the house he doesn't want you to know about.
Let me put it to you this way if you decide to go out with this guy:
YOU: Hi baby, how was your day.
HIM: Uhm, ok.
YOU: And what did you do today? Catch any bad guys?
HIM: No
YOU: What else is new baby?
HIM: uhm, nothin'
YOU: You wanna go out or somethin?
HIM: uhm, ok
Now that's a barn-burning discussion. Unfortunately that could be your conversation for the next twenty years with this guy!!
Move on sister. Life has more to offer than a monosyllabic slack-jawed yokel like this guy.

He seems disinterested because he doesn't have much time for you. I have no doubt he is very interested in having sex with you. Only problem is that he either has a wife or a girlfriend (maybe a few). He will always be this way with you since he is always out looking for other women.
Cops have not only one of the highest divorce rates, but cheating rates too. If you start seeing him, be prepared for him to cheat on you with many women. If you like to share, go for it.

Sounds like he is probably just dating a number of people and hasn't made up his mind on committing to one person yet. I don't understand why you are going out with someone you say has a dull personality, I would hope that isn't someone you would be interested in long-term? So, if you just want a short-term fling... you've found it. Otherwise... what are you doing exactly?

Stick with it if you like him... Dull personality huh, sounds like a short term relationship to me.
Sometimes life gets in the way of calling a girl you're interested in. Then you get to a point where you think it would be a little awkward to calls so you hope she'll call you soon.

liking someones personality is more important than looks. what will you do when he gets old and his looks are gone? there has to be chemistry and compatibility beyond looks. maybe he seems dull but theres a whole other side to him that may be exciting. i say go on a couple dates and see if you two are compatible personality-wise. i wish you the best of luck!
ps. make sure hes not married

I would back away...if he's not putting in effort and interest, he's not the right one. There is someone better out there that you are meant to be with. If he starts showing more interest see where it goes, but if not, you are better off not pursuing him. Plus, if he has a dull personality you definitely deserve better than that. Don't settle for less! :)

hey i am a guy myself and I wouldnt give a girl my number unless I wanted her to call me and I was interested in hangin out with her. But on the other hand if he hasnt called you and doesnt really seem to care then I would drop him because you are probably just someone he wants to hang out with whenever he isnt hanging out with anyone else and you can probably do way better than him anyways

If you think he has a dull personality now, it won't change, hun. I'd say give this one up and spend your time finding someone who has a great, exciting, fun personality. If you've picked up the vibe that maybe he's not interested, then he probably isn't. Move on sweetie.

Personality does matter. If you find him dull already at this early stage, how could you think you would be more attracted to him once you two will have a more serious relationship then? Save your energy and don't waste your time.
