best cosmetology school?

My cousin is going to go to school for cosmetology. She wants to go to empire beauty school. Is that a good school to go to? Has anyone gone there before? And what type of materials do they get....like tools, such as do they get a hair curler and hair straightner? What exactly do they get when they attend empire?
