Yes.

Men and women who take vows of chastity do not have to be virgins.

Of course, they cannot have any sex after taking their vow.

From what I understand, nuns are not supposed to be married, therefore they should not have had sex, since they believe in abstinence until marriage.

Of course! Many women have had sex and then become nuns. I know from personal experience.
