I usually drive by myself. Who would I argue with?
When I'm required to drive with my wife I feel as if I have a hot radar probe up my a*s. She makes me nervous as I drive too slow in town and cities and squeeze too much speed on the freeways.

Argue with who? The missus? The other passengers? Other road users? The satnav? The bloke hog tied in the boot?
In my case, Yes. To all of the above.

No, that is a good way to have a wreck. Concentrate on the road, yak and argue later after you're stopped, or parked.

In term of safety, we shouldn't as it will cause accident. However, no one is a saint. So, people do argue occassionally while driving.

you should never do that. your focus should be on the road, not on the person your arguing against.
