My cat JJ, always when he sees me, he always show him his stomeck, and he will always lay on his back, and when I'm done washing the dishes, or doing something , he would start to purr, and lay dowen, and smile at me. And start to roll over, till I pet him. Or pick him up.

He wants attention! You should feel honored. Cats only show their stomachs to people that they completely trust (since it is one the most vulnerable places on their body.

Cats generally dont trust easily and tend not to show their stomachs as its a sign of vulnerability because generally thats the part that when they get attacked, is the most vulnerable. JJ wantsto show you that he knows you wont attack him, trusts you and loves you dearly. Basically, all that and he wants some lovin'! Its so cute when cats do that for attention :D

He is showing you that he trusts you. When a cat rolls over on its back or side, exposing its stomach, it means it trusts you. However, do not, I repeat, DO NOT rub the exposed belly. Cats take this as a means of attack or threat, and they will attack you. Some cats may like it, but why take the risk?

JJ views you as the pack leader and is displaying the classic submission pose. Cats not only purr when happy but also when upset, nervous and agitated. He is letting you know that he understands you are the alpha female in his life and that he must please you to keep you happy.

He's showing love, submission and trust. I agree that he's patient too. He May or may Not want you to rub his belly however - you'll have to gently try and see if he likes it; if he does not, he'll let you know, and you should honor that. Showing the belly is a very trusting and vulnerable posture.

i think your cat just wants you to rub his stomach. my cat is spoiled like that too. when i start to pet him i can say "roll over" and he will roll over on his back and fall asleep with me rubbing his stomach.and if i stop he wakes up and whines for me to keep doing it. so sounds like you cat wants you to do the same thing

He is being cute to get you attention, and yes, he is doing so by being submissive (showing belly).
Cute buddy!
