That is nothing more than profiling. Maybe "Fred" is here legally, and working on learning the language - as long as he's TRYING, good for him. And accents? Where do you draw the line? A person who has lived all their life in Boston has a different dialect than someone who has lived all their life in Georgia, Michigan, etc. My hubby & I grew up on different sides of the SAME state, we both speak English as a first language, but we each think the other has an accent.

You should leave people alone and mind your own business. My father, his father, and his grandfather were all born in the United States of America. In fact, I have no family at all in Mexico but the blood of my entire family originated in Mexico and we all speak fluent Spanish AND English. All of us have accents and most white people, excuse me, Caucasians get the idea that we can't speak English very well. Just because you "think he is illegal" is not not a good reason to report someone. The U.S. is filled with many different cultures, if you don't like it, then too bad!

I wonder if such an action may have legal consequnce to You...
Ask for legal advice before doing such...

Just because someone is unable to fluently speak the English language doesn't mean they are here illegally. How are you able to discern if his immigration status is illegal by his accent? Ignorance is bliss.

Unless you are of native american descent, one of your ancestors spoke with an accent in the U.S. once upon a time too...

Geez, you conservatives are scary.

Wow. I'm impressed at your amazing ability to tell immigration status through English ability. Can you discern nationality too, or does that require tea leaves?

Unless you have proof that he is an illegal immigrant you shouldn't do anything about it.
