They seem hell bent on destroying freedom of speech and thought. If you don't agree with their narrow minded set of "Values" your branded and harrassed just like the innocents in Stalins Soviet Union or Hitlers Nazi Germany.

Doesn't this go both way? If you speak out against the war the right says you are "not supporting the troops." The right also thinks that all criticism of a sitting president is wrong during time of war...except if the president is a Dem. Traditionally, the right has been anti-education, pro-segregationist, pro-business, pro-monopoly, anti-consumer, anti-borrower, etc. In a Republican world we are free to think and say anything we want...just so long as it is approved of by the Republicans.

Let's start with the issue of flag burning.

I don't know. I haven't seen anyone dragged off to a re-education camp without trial by Tipper Gore or shot on Hillary Clinton's orders.

While I do think the PC movement has gone a little too far (the double standard between racist comments by say...Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson and Michael Richards or Imus) I don't think it's as organized as it's made out to be. It seems the liberals are more unreasonable when steps aren't taken to compromise, and there is usually there is enough hyperbole on both sides that nobody is reasonable.

I do think that when we are talking about people being harassed on no evidence or dragged off to prison camps without a trial it's more appropriate to look at the Conservative Right. Simply picking the cause of the day (terrorism...or drugs...or child molestation) and suspending justice because of how big a problem it seems to be is not a good solution.

Finally, the American Liberal has no 'narrow minded set of "Values"'. I consider myself a liberal, but I have my own set of values that are often at the opposite end of the spectrum from other people who also are liberals. Looking at the openly held views of the liberals that I know compared to the openly held views of the conservatives I know, the term 'Narrow Minded' usually wouldn't apply to the liberals.

Where is your evidence that the Democrats are the Gestapo? And also the Democrats are moderate left, why are you comparing them to the secret police of a nation that was extreme right?

Liberalism does NOT oppose ideas contrary to their own, and if you study the movement, you'll find that liberals will acutally encourage a difference of opinion because they favor something called "diversity".

Creating this sort of straw man to appear as something that is far more vile is something that one who is far more extreme, and in your case Facist, extreme Right wing, would do to try and force the general population to follow their "narrow minded set of values".

When the conversation starts referring to Hitler and the Nazis (whether from the right or left), that's when I just turn off.

Yes, the modern socialists of the Democrat Party are fast becoming the National Socialists of 1939 Germany

Thats why we have to defeat socialism every time it rears it's ugly head.

With a fairly large amount of congress being registered socialists what would you expect.

It is going to be a long and hard process to take back our country.

The entire political correctness movement has been orchestrated by Liberals, many of them college professors, for stifling speech. This is undeniable.

folks this is what kkkarl rove calls 'turning your greatest weakness into a strength.' this is how he got bush elected and how the radical neoconservatives have risen to power.

in other words, what this guy accuses others of is exactly what the radical conservatives in america ARE.

sieg heil, ya'll.

read a book, the nazis were right wing radical fanatics with the support of german business.

now we can ask everyone who that reminds them of - and we'll see how many say liberals.

but you did you hit for fox news...

No, they don't have the balls for it. They are all talk and no do. They whine and cry all the time but they never seem to have any answers and they never do anything about anything.
