It will take a few days to heal.

Eat soft foods like mashed potatoes in the time being.

It really hurts when hard food gets in the hole that's left behind.

Did you get a stitch to seal the hole? Also depends on the trauma getting the sucker out of there. If there's swelling, use the ice pack as recommended and that the pain meds if prescribed. Food should be soft and liquid if possible. Soups, shakes, puddings, Jell-o etc today. Tomorrow you can add bread and soft chewie stuff. By the second day you could be eating normally, but stay away from chips, nuts, popcorn, etc until you are healed.....a week ?

Eat soft foods and chew on the other side as much as possible. The socket will close up almost completely in about three weeks. Rinse lightly with warm salt water to keep the area clean.

The Oral Surgeon did tell you? Soft Food for a few days...
soft icecream, applesauce, soups, yogart....anything soft

I admit...I wanted a hamburger for some reason after I got all 4 of mine pulled and I very very slowly pulled one apart and nawed on it. Just to stab the area with anything!

Hang in there!!! It was a great idea to pull the wisdom teeth..they cause problems later in life

It can take a week or more to FULLY heal. Eat soft foods until then. Stuff like mashed potatoes, pasta, soft fruits like bananas, soft bread.

About 3 or 4 days before you can eat good again...but stay away from peanuts and hard round things or you will get it stuck in your socket...it takes 3 months for the socket to close up competely

The army pulled four of my wisdom teeth in one day to deploy to Iraq. I ate baby food, jello, pudding , and juice for 2 weeks. I hope this helps.

It will take a while for it to fully heal, but I would eat soft foods for the next few days.

What did your dentist tell you?

Eat soft foods you can mash with your tongue. Buy a syringe so you can squirt water into the sockets to flush out food that may have gotten caught in there - gross!!
