I have th work this Saturday from 5 till closing time, which is around 10:15. I told my boyfriend that I would be off on Friday, but he isn't sure if he can come and see me. We live a hour apart. I would go see him but my parents don't want me to drive that far to see him. He says he can catch a ride to my city but I have to be at church at 8 in the morning. Would it be wrong if I told him that I won't be able to hang out with him because I have to go to church?

First of all this a distant relationship,some distant relationship do not work. If two people want to work it out there must be alot of communication between the two parties. With no extra outside influences,distant relationships are hard enough... No it would not be wrong to tell him that you have to go to church. That's a start of the communication process..

What about if you made plans for after church? You do have prior committments and you shouldn't be expected to break them just for some guy. Offer the suggestion. If it doesn't work for him, just tell if you'll see each other another time then.

are you seriously asking how a relationship will be able to work just because you are busy for a weekend and wont be able to see each other?
no the relationship wont work if you cant handle being without that person for a few days. its not like you will always have different schedules, I'm sure you two will be able to see each other soon.

is this a serious question? how old are you?
you 2 live an hour apart. i drive that to work one way.
if its worth it to see him, if only for a couple hours, then spend time with him. what time is your curfew? if its later than 1030, have him come out on saturday. and leave his place an hour before you get off. that way as soon as work is done, you can spend time with him.
its worth it. ive been out till 430am, slept till 530am, and then showered and went to work. all to spend time with my boyfriend.

No but yes because it would get him thinking that you never see each other! which could make him break up with you...... So if you really love him you have to make time
