A gram is a measurement of weight. A cup is an amount. It depends on what you are eating that will determine how many grams goes into a cup. Get a food scale. Some foods are heavier than other food.

Grams measure weight. Cups measure volume. It takes 28.5 grams to weigh 1 ounce, 113.5 grams to weigh 1/4 pound, 454 grams to weigh 1 lb.. Two cups =1 pint, 2 pints = 1 quart, 4 quarts=1 gallon.

You can't really convert grams to cups, as cups is a measure of volume and grams is a measure of weight.
50 grams is roughly 2 ounces (a little bit less, actually).

A cup of lead would be a lot heavier than a cup of water.

Get a scale, it'll make your life easier.

protein for meat goes like this:

1 oz of meat = 7 grams of protein
1 egg = 7 grams of protein
1 oz of milk = 1 gram of protein

50/7= 7.1 oz of meat per day

To get your exact protein needs you divide

.8-1.0 gm x your weight in kilograms ( divide your weight in pounds by 2.2 to get kg weight.)

so some one who is 135 pounds is 61kg
61 x .8=48.8 so their protein needs are 49-61 grams per day
