Don't worry!

EVERYONE makes mistakes on their diet!

Just make sure you go back on it! The best way to change your diet is to have consitency & keep on track - but don't obsess about a mistake!

The best thing to do tonight is to just keep the eating low-key. Eat a salad (olive oil dressing!). Eat veggies. Eat lean protien (chicken breast or fish).

Don't worry! You'll be fine!

Don't do anything, if you will feel better, go for a jog or something, but it is good to break your diet at least once a week and plurge, it helps keep you from craving food and snacking throughout the rest of the week, you can just look forward to whatever day you pick for your splurge day, and think of that day throughout the week when you have cravings etc. This is something my nutritionist has told me to do, so I know it is healthy :) Make sure you eat a light supper when you go out, so that you don't make yourself sick!! Good luck!

I would suggest that you have a very light meal when you go out, have soup and a salad. The soup should be a broth based soup, not cream and ask for your salad dressing on the side and add just enough to give it some taste, skip the bread and butter. If you are hungry when you go out have something broiled and low in fat, baked potato with no butter or just enough to give it some flavor, and steamed vegetables, stay away from starchy vegetables such as corn and peas.

Don't panic - just keep going. Don't punish yourself for slipping up! If you are hungry at supper, just eat a healthy, small meal. If you aren't very hungry at supper cos of your binge, then eat something very light like soup. Keep at it.

I wouldn't panick... just relax. many diets fail because they cut too much of what you love out, resulting in a "binge". just try to be careful about intake without cutting out everything you love... it's all good in moderation.

ENJOY the day! And then tomorrow go back on your diet. If you don't take a break once in awhile, you will not succeed on your diet.
