honestly, he has always been a joke, he got into nascar by riding the coat tails of his brother, and then became a fan favorite by riding the coat tails od dale earnhardt and DEI, now that hes on his own, espescially with toyota, people see him for the crappy driver that he really is

Michael isn't a joke. The things that are happening to him are kind of a joke. That man has had more bad luck than Jackson, and Simpson combined. I don't think he should be totally out of NASCAR, but I think he needs to decide to either drive a race car, or build a multi-car team from nothing. He can't do both, and he's proved that. What happened @ Daytona was too traumatizing to his team, and they haven't got over it yet. I don't know that they ever will either. I say Michael hangs up his helmet, and gets in the full-time owner seat. Keep Dale Jarrett cause he's a proven Champion and has a lot to help that team. Reutimann is the young gun on that team obviously, and w/ the right equipment he will produce top-10's and wins. He's one of the most underrated drivers in the series today.

Dont mix his personal life with his NASCAR life. Nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes. We all have hard times. We all just need to support him as a part of nascar weather he is a joke to you or not. Personally I think the whole kurt busch thing was a joke but he is still in nascar and hopefully he learned his lesson. Mikey will bend just so far.... he will either snap back or break. We will just have to wait and see. The ball is in his court not yours.

Mikey isnt the best driver but hes definately a good advertiser for things. I dont think he should be kicked out of NASCAR maybe he could work with his brother up in the booth commentating about the race.

I'm kind of worried about Mikey. He's going through some really tough times right now and it keeps getting worse. I think it's time he gets out of the race car and just focuses on being an owner.

M W has never been a natural born racer, and old age sneaks up on a racer in a hurry, that and worrying about being a teams owner has got to be taking a toll on his concentrating on the racing. He should give up the driving but i would hate to see him leave the sport for good.

yes iagree that Micheal Waltrip is a joke as a driver, personally i belive the only reason he has 4 carrer wins is because when Dale sr signed him he signed him to help jr win races which put old mickey into postion to win races. i think within a season mickey will have the plugs pulled on his team unless he has a mircle turn around but do not expecet because im sorry there is no good driver at that team, Dale jarret time has passed seriously, Micheal when he was at the top of his carrer he was at best a midpacker and those days have passed and i hate to say it but right now the best driver in that team is David Ruttmun and unfountrly that is not saying much because other then one win David never had much success in the lower levekl truck series

well, I'm not trying to be mean toward him or anything, but i will give the most honest answer i can. well, he cant drive in nascar mainly because he is a new team, with a new manufacture, that being Toyota, which has no experience in nascar. he is also not very good at a driver unless he is at a restrictor plate track. but he wrecked his personal car too so i say run your team and make the money the safer way.
