My son is a third generation Swedish/American on his father's side. His great-grandfather came to America in the early 1900's. Does he meet requirements for a minority scholarship. He has been accepted to an college in Arkansas. Where to go to find this information?

Minority scholarships tend to be geared towards African American, Asian, or Native Americans. There are scholarships out there for Swedish Americans, but it is pretty late in the scholarship season because most of the scholarship deadlines have already happened before mid April. I will list some links below. Good luck!

Third generation Swedish Americans are not minorities. If you are white in this country, of course you are going to have immigration in your background, but you are not a minority, and you are not discriminated against or disadvantaged in American society.
