God's forgiveness is always important. The thing is that he already knows that you regret it and he'll always forgive you no matter what you do.So as soon as you ask the person you hurt for forgiveness, God will also forgive you for that.

In Judaism, a person must apologize to those he or she has harmed in order to be entitled to forgiveness. This means that, unlike in Christianity, in Judaism a person cannot obtain forgiveness from God for wrongs the person has done to other people.
"It is forbidden to be obdurate and not allow yourself to be appeased. On the contrary, one should be easily pacified and find it difficult to become angry. When asked by an offender for forgiveness, one should forgive with a sincere mind and a willing spirit. . . forgiveness is natural to the seed of Israel." (Mishneh Torah, Teshuvah 2:10)

Two words for you - personal responsibility.
Your God gave you free will... use it.
Before any one or any God can forgive you for anything, you've got to forgive yourself for whatever harm your "sin" might have caused.
Then go to the person.
Then (as it seems a necessary step for you) go to your God with a clear conscience that you've worked toward righting your wrong.

How do you ask God for anything ? What is your method of communication ? You may as well go out in a major hurricane and whisper to your neighbor who lives a mile away. If you do wrong, make it right with the person you harmed. You can talk to him personally, and know your message is getting through.

Well, Jesus Himself, answered that very question immediately following His 'Lord's Prayer' ... wherein He stated, straight after teaching the people in what manner they shoud pray,
"For if ye forgive not men their trespasses neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"
He then counselled them to leave their "gift at the altar" and first go their way and be reconciled unto their brothers.
I believe it is in Matthew chapter 6.

Every person is a small God.
We ask forgiveness from the person. We have been taught that God forgives anyway, isn't it?

I think its more important to ask God's forgiveness first. And then appologize to the person you hurt or whatever you did. God is supposed to be the number one person to forgive, at least it says so in the 10 Commandments...
