I have ended up with wmp9! can anyone help me here? Im confused. Im certain I had 10 before so why cant I get it now? Should I stay with 9 or go back to wmp11 again?
I am running Windows XP Home

Thanx M-Vid...i did that but i got the....This version of Windows Media Technologies is incompatible with this version of Windows. For more information, view the information at the Microsoft web site......again. When iclicked to view the info all i got was....page cant be read,a)check address b) network congestion etc...perhaps I'll stick to wmp9 for now.

I have just installed updates on wmp9 and its updated to wmp11.

i used this to roll back to the previous wmp hope it helps

I'm not sure why it wouldn't have worked.. when you removed wmp11 (if you had wmp10) it should have just reverted back to wmp10.

and it is personal preference to pick between the media players.. i personally like 10.. but just keep whichever one you want..

Just do system restore to a date before you changed the media player,,,,that's what I did and it worked.

*did you remove it completely open my computer c drive programs find wmp file delete it then try to install wmp10
