IF his mobile phone service has international roaming, then you would just call him as you normally would if he were in the UK. If not, then you would not be able to contact him. If he has a GSM phone he may gotten a sim card there and is using it for whatever purpose. Then you would dial 011-66-8 and 8 digit code. All cell phones in Thailand start with an 8.

Maybe You should email him or call him at his hotel and find out the best way to contact him in an emergency.

Hi Lauren, just ring him as you would normally on his UK number. The auto-roam service will automatically re-route the call to him wherever he is, if he had subscribe to this service. Otherwise, you will not be able to ring him on his UK number.

If he is using a local Thai number, then all you need is just to add the country code of +66 to the Thai number that he might have.

Have a go.

I am not sure your brothers UK number is going to work in Thailand, unless he has some international service. So no code will work.

If he has international roaming on his uk number, then you just need to dial the Uk number , just as normal.

If he has taken a sim in the thailand , then you will be required the thailand number.
