The best place would be your local animal shelter.
Also, you might want to consider adopting an adult rather than a kitten.
When someone goes into a shelter they're always drawn to the kittens and the older cats are ignored.
Most shelters have a time limit on how long they are able to keep a cat before they are put down.
Hundreds if not thousands of adult cats are put down everyday because the kittens are adopted first.
Getting a cat will not only give your daughter a pet, but it will be saving a life.

Check your local Pet store's noticeboard. I had been looking for a month and couldn't find one. I went to Pets at Home and answered an ad on there and will be picking mine up in a few weeks. You can also place an advert with them, they may ask you to make a £2 donation for this service.
Also check the RSPCA, any local cat centres. It is Kitten season, buy you have to be quick they go very quickly.
And google 'kittens for sale =Harlow/Essex' as well see what comes up.

Why not go to your local shelters and look there? There are so many cats, as well as kittens that need a good home. Perhaps a full grown cat who gets along well with other animals might be the better route to go since your other cat is already eleven. Sometimes kitten energy can stress out an older cat, especially if they are very playful.

Have you tried your local animal shelter? They adopt kitties out, usually for a nominal fee. But, there's something you might consider. Kitties live much longer, healthier and happier lives when they are kept strictly indoors. There are way too many dangers out there for those little guys. It's harder when you have an adult cat who is already used to going outside.....but you have a chance with a little kitten on keeping him totally inside. We got two kitties, brother and sister, so they could keep each other company, and they have been an endless source of amusement for us.
