I love calla lillies and would love to take them to display and recall fond memories of your special occasiona whenever I look at them. If you would like to use some real flowers with the calla lillies that would probably be okay also, but real flowers die so quickly and the silk calla lillies will be around for a long time. Good luck and God Bless your marriage.
I wish I had used a silk flower arrangement for my bridal bouquet which after 25 years I can barely recall except when looking at photos.

I would prefer to carry fresh rose bouquets. Fresh flowers are more elegant. And frankly, if I was a bridesmaid and was given silk calla lilies to take home, I'd still just chuck them in the garbage can. Also, if you're travelling to Vegas, the less you bring the better. So use the callas in an arrangement for your home, and get some small fresh flowers in Vegas.

I agree with the person who suggested mixing fresh roses with silk lilies. this way, the bouquet will still be super pretty, but after all the real flowers fade away, the silk flowers will be there and remind your bridesmaids of what a great wedding it was.

Why don't you mix them together- white fresh roses with white silk calla lilys? the bridesmaids will appreciate having a "memoir" and you'll appreciate the variety and beauty.

Mix them. Do 6-8 roses and a calla lily or 2 with the stems wrapped and tied with ribbon and secured with pearl tipped pins. That always looks very elegant and beautiful, and you will have the fresh scent of roses, and an ellegant calla for them to treasure always.

I'm getting married in vegas too! congrats! i would go with roses because i like the look of a fresh flower and personally if i were a bridesmaid i wouldn't want to keep them, not because they weren't special of anything but because i wouldn't want to worry about traveling with them and then doing something with them when i got home! i would ask your bridesmaids what they prefer also they may want something they can keep

as long as they are not too fake looking..silk flowers are best..they are cheaper and can be saved as a memory from your wedding..but its best to ask your bridesmaids..everyone has different taste..and let them know majority rule wins

Fresh flowers are always prettier. They are temporary, so they are appreciated more. I was never a fan of silk flowers. They just collect dust. Plus, roses smell so nice, and silk flowers smell like plastic.
