.......help your cause of spreading your belief in "nothing"?
Wouldn't the cause be better served by displaying decency, order, and self-respect?

(I'm going to see if there's a way to double post this in the "Ediquette" section)

I've never really understood why people feel the need to spread commentary about any of their beliefs. If the beliefs are what makes them feel at peace and complete ... then so be it ... one is never able to convince someone that there is one true belief. If anything ... this is why people get their backs up and feel the need to comment on their own feelings.

I have also never understood people who come to the Religion and Spirituality forum to argue their point. Live and let live ... cause no harm to others.

My own feeling is that I simply live by the "Golden Rule" namely; do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Treat people with respect and chances are they will do the same.

If I find myself in a situation where someone doesn't agree with my opinion ... well ... then I simply agree to disagree with them but find no need to pass judgment.

Remember that "Opinions are like 'armpits' ... everyone has them"!

I'm not sure if this question shouldn't be posted in more than two categories. It seems that common sense and decency should be used in answering ALL questions on Yahoo Answers.

But I find the Internet to be a place where people cast etiquette aside and would rather let the darker side of themselves show. This is most likely because they can remain anonymous and don't have to look another human being in the eyes.

Just my opinion (armpit) on this subject! Have a great day everybody. =)

You're kidding right?

It's obvious that you only read the entries that pertain to your invalid points and use them against a whole group of people.

I could ask the very same question to almost every christian i've seen posting questions & answers on these forums. They are down-right arrogant, ignorant, disrespectful, and just plain rude to all of those people who do not believe the same things they believe. Let's just say that I haven't see anyone from any other religions condemn people to hell simply on the basis that they are not the same religion as they are.... they don't even know who they are talking to or what kind of person they are!!

".......help your cause of spreading your belief in "nothing"?"

This is a perfect example of a disrespectful, ignorant question.

Doesn't the fact that you have to lie so much to defend your beliefs tell you something about the quality of those beliefs? It should.

Just about as well as the "you are going to hell, you sinner you" helps spread the cause of Christianity. I am a Christian, by the way.

People don't like when their beliefs are questioned so it is what the resort too... There are better ways if you ask me but whatever to each their own.

Here we go with the spitting again. That is a nasty habit you know. It's considered a biological hazard.

I always have fun. ;-)
