How can I do this? We have a rule that states "No Facial Piercings". I know about 70 students who are against this rule already... How can I get this going??

Omgosh! I know someone who started one! Okay, here's what you do. You get a notepad, and walk around school getting people to write their name, the date, and their signature (go get the names, yadda, yadda of the people who have facial piercings cause they'll be more surportive and when non-facial pierced people are asked to sign, even though they're against it, they might still sign cause of the long list of names, you know, peer pressure and stuff lol), then drop it off at the principals office (put in envelope, and i think you should drop it off anonymously cause you might get in trouble if they find out you did it). hopefully, the vast number of signatures will change their mind about the rule! good luck.

Well they cant tell you that you cant make a petition because that violates your first amendment right to freedom of assembly. However, they can say hugs are PDA and get it voted against you that way. Or by saying it's sexual harassment or something. So you can try it, but it probably won't work out in your favor.

Don't bother. No facial piercings is a good rule. There is no good reason to have all that metal in your face.

Go ahead, its your right. While your at it, why don't you start one asking for a cocktail lounge and free designer clothes. It would have just as much chance.
