Postmortem Department in JJ Jospital Mumbai where corpse are kept on the tables for post mortem reports.
I smelt it only once, but the smell did not go out from me for months. For few days could not eat anything since the smell was still there in my nose. Even now if I remember the incident, the dirty smell still come out from my memory.

When my daughter was little (2years old ish) she loved Kinder Eggs (now called Kinder Surprises, having gone the way of Opal Fruits and Marathon Bars) She loved the chocolate but also loved to play with the little orange/yellow cases inside that contain the dissapointing and not at all surprising toys. She would spend a long time putting 1ps and 2ps in these and shaking them. Her toy box became full of them so I decided to have a clear out one fine winters evening. Now I'm not one to be a miser but I thought I'd just check that she hadn't scurried away any money worth having into these orange shakers. I sat there opening them one after the other, shaking them first to make sure they had something in them, I got to one which had a different shake to the rest and thought, 'Hey Hey we're on to big money (£1) here!, Imagine my disgust to find a snail shell and the most amazing stench of rotted flesh escape from the confines of this small but perfect snail coffin. The poor thing must have been in there for months and the toy box was kept next to the radiator in the living room so the smell was quite possibly the worst thing I have ever smelt ever!

When about 12, I chased a skunk into a corn silo, trying to catch it. I have no idea why, but I was 12 OK? Well, i got the little furry creature in a burlap bag. It had sprayed me, I have no idea, how many times in the chase. Mom wouldn't let me in the house until I took all my clothes off and showered outside. We lived in the country, so no one else was within, probably. 5 miles. Life experience and they (skunks) don't smell (their spray anyway) good but I was having fun and that's what it's all about! I'll never forget that but don't do it!
PS For the PETA people, the animal was released unharmed and went to wherever he/she came from. It was not mean, just being a kid, Sorry if I made him or her mad. They do have sharp teeth!

My boyfriend's farts. Honestly its like something has crawled into his a*se and died a horrible death - he doesnt eat many things different from me so I didnt know what it was until the other night when I fed my cat some cold meat from the fridge that my boyfriend uses in his sandwiches - about 20 minutes later the cat farted (in my face) and it smelt about the same as my boyfriends.
And I used to work in a old folks home - this shows how bad these farts are!!!

Burning flesh.
I was on vacation in Gettyburg Pa. about 35 years ago and came up on a Greyhound bus that had exploded about 2 hours before with 62 people inside, many perished.
I still remember that stench today.

Luckily I have no sense of smell that's why I got elected to clean out the rotting contents of a refrigerator full of food after the door being closed all summer. People around me were getting sick though.

A decomposing dog, the smell still haunts me now. It actually made me vomit. Someone had run the poor thing over and dumped it in a ditch in the middle of summer. It's weird how the smell of death seems to linger in the nostrils!

My girlfriend and I were taking our dogs for a walk one day. We let our dogs off their leashes so they could run and play. They got a little ways ahead of us and were rolling around in something, I still don't know what it was, but the smell was so awful!! We had to take them home and bath them outside in the yard, the smell was so putrid we couldn't take them inside at all!! It took a few good shampoo's just to get the smell out of their fur!! Whatever it was, it was horrid!!!!
