ginger hair...dying??

Question

i have naturally ginger hair and im bored with the colour- only problem is if i dye it permentantly then ill have to keep getting my roots done which i dont want to do..
will highlights change the colour of my hair??
any other suggestions?

Since you don't want to dye your hair use a shampoo for redheads and that will subtly change the hair and yes highlights will change the color of you hair
They also make hennas that wash out, don't use the the other kind that washes out, just a henna. The other kind (Clairol etc.) will change the color of your hair.
