That I, as a Christian, could ask, of the others in this section who are not Christian.
From the Atheist to the polydeist to the Pagan, Wiccan, Muslim...etc.
Certainly I expect your opinion, and if you care to a reason.
Thank You in advance for your generous responses.

I see the word "expect" and intended the word "desire".

Many of the questions that believers ask us COULD be turned into respectful ones, if the intentional "digs" were simply removed.

However, many questions simply can't be saved. For example, I think that some believers are absolutely sincere and well-meaning when they ask "Atheists, how can you have morals without a god?". That's like asking a group of blacks "Do you believe that you're human beings just like us white people?". It's something that you should have looked into more before coming out into the open with it.

The intentionally disrespectful version would be something like "Atheists, since you don't have a god to give you morals, why do you claim to have morality?". If you ask anything like that, you're an ***, and I'm reporting you - it's nothing more than intentional hate speech.

A proper version of the question would be "Atheists, could you explain your ideas about what supports moral behavior?".

JoJo's question (above) is a perfectly fine one as well, and I congratulate her for representing her religion in a respectful manner.

That you could ask about what?

As far as I'm concerned, the most respectful thing you could do for me is to try and convince everyone to stop writing atheist with a capital A. It erroneously implies much more than word the means. It's like saying someone is Blue Eyed, or Female, or Allergic To Nuts - actually all those things are more meaningful if anything. It's a description of a very specific, very small thing, not a set of beliefs or subscription to any dogma.

Someone's always going to take things the wrong way, it's an R&S 'tradition'.
The best you can do is phrase a question that doesn't sound like it's saying "I'm right and you're wrong" or implying that a group are in some way stupid or inferior for the point of view they hold.
It's a really big field, some would say a minefield.
All you can do is test the waters, and hope nobody bites your head off.

Good luck.

The phrases of the Gospel deliver offense, Jesu while e spoke mostly introduced out anger in his hearers and mostly mentioned sin rightousnes and Judgement, Jesus naveer stayed much less vocal extra tolerant or respectful, he spoke the reality even it ticked anyone off, nor did Jesus ever let us know as Christians to to stay quiet and no more vocal, his command used to be to head intoall the sector and hold forth the Gospel to each and every creature. whilst the les vocal extra "tolerant" christian might suit your definition of the best way a christan will have to be, people who achieve this are flying within the face of jesus's phrases and examples. what's love? being afraid to talk up and let you know the reality, or teling you the reality and saving you the discomfort of everlasting penalties? I could advise that the previous is a kind of disadvantaged indiffernace, like figuring out that there could be a quality hearth eat a theater and but you dont wish to embarras your self or appear Intolerant so that you fail to warnt hem they usually deplete into ashes. I wont allow up close up or quit till I have performed that which my savior instructions "pass ye into the entire global and hold forth the Gospel to each and every creature" So now heres a query for you and the readers. Would you recollect your self to be a well character? Have you ever lied? have you ever ever stolen whatever or used Gods identify in useless? have you ever ever checked out anyone with lust? see if in case you have stated sure to those questions then by means of your possess admission your a mendacity theiving blapshemous adultutrer at center. Im no longer exempt from Gods Justice, I could be obvious the identical approach, not anything now we have ever performed is hidden from His Holy eyes, remebr the matters you may have performed in mystery? the matters you notion none else knew approximately? the extraordinarily firghtening information is that God does recognize, and the whole lot now we have performed will likely be displayed within the open for all too see. How Embarrasing. The worst is that God is Just and hates sin and the soul that sins it shall die. Gods Justice will receive to people who have damaged His legislation and that Justice is hell. the Good information is that jesus Christ died for you and that i. we broke Gods Law, we deserve Gods wrath, however God became his wrath and Justice closer to jesus alternatively. The satisfactory in your transgressions and mine has been payed in Full, Now we Must recive the forgivness, we do that by means of repenting (turning from sin) and trusting in jesus as you could believe a parachute in the event you had been leaping from 30,00 ft. you wouldnt easily belive within the parachute, you could positioned it on. so repent and believe in jesus at present, a hundred and fifty,000 individuals die each and every 24 hours, sooner or later with a purpose to be you and I. God Bless

Good question! I once asked in YA, " If you are an athiest, tell me why you are?' and I got unbelievably nice responses from athiests, and a better understanding of why they feel as they do.
I don't agree with them; each of us chooses what to believe, but I was impressed with the sincerity of their answers...Try asking something similar, and if you ask in a respectful way, you'll get great anwers.

Since a lot of these are former Christians, "Why did you leave Christianity?" would be a great one.

Any question can be respectful as long as it is not asked in a way that's mocking, accusatory, or condemning.

This question is respectful.
