If you think they would get along, sure! At our wedding, we mixed up some cousins and tried to seat some of our young adult cousins together instead of with their parents. That way they had people their own age to talk to and weren't bored hanging out with their parents and their friends.

Seems a good idea to me. There's nothing worse than being at a wedding reception and finding that you have nothing to say to the people at the table. So it helps if you are all around the same age thus have similar experiences.

The danger, of course, is that family let slip secrets to friends. Things like that purple set of dungarees you would never take off when you were 6 ;)

yes i would keep them together if the are a similar age they will have more in common to talk about
