The Romans crucified Jesus.
Jesus is the way! Jesus took our sin upon Himself (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), taking the punishment that we deserve. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death (Romans 6:4-5). Why did He do it? Jesus answered that question Himself, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). Jesus died so that we could live. If we place our faith in Jesus, trusting His death as the payment for our sins - all of our sins are forgiven and washed away. We will then have our spiritual hunger satisfied. The lights will be turned on. We will have access to a fulfilling life. We will know our true best friend and good shepherd. We will know that we will have life after we die - a resurrected life in heaven for eternity with Jesus!

It was Gods plan for Jesus to be crucified. God requires the shedding of blood for the forgiveness of sin. In the OT they used animals but that was only good to cover the sin not to forgive it completely so Jesus took your sins to the cross and died in your place for the penalty of that sin. The Jewish leaders in that time feared an uprising and didn't like Jesus claiming to be the son of God so they coursed the Romans to have him put to death.
Your Catholic well that's fine but the one thing you need to do is make sure you are "born again" You need to pray and tell Jesus you believe he is the son of God and that he died for your sins, then ask him to come into your life as Lord and Savior.

Jesus was crucified because his father used bad judgment. God didn't realize that the majority of people on this Earth choose not to be Christian and could care less about Jesus Christ. If God had given his Son immortality, he would still be alive today working miracles like those in the Bible. No other religion could compete with that and they would have all fallen by the wayside.

The Romans. And they only usually did that when they thought that someone was an enemy of the state.
There are several things about that story that don't jive with history. The Romans didn't typically do this with a thief so that doesn't really make sense. And it typically took two or three days to die that way. Also they did not take the body down, but displayed it as a warning.

He was executed by the Romans because they saw him as a trouble maker with a large following and a potential security threat. The Romans even made the public verbally choose Rome over Jesus and then humiliated Jesus so no one else would get any ideas about uprising.

I think he was crucified by the Romans for sedition. Crucifixion was a method of execution used by the Romans for enemies of the state. According to the Bible, he was killed by the Jewish people for blasphemy (claiming to be the Messiah) but in reality was used as the supreme sacrifice so that he could take the karma of the world on himself and thus removed the necessity of following Jewish law and substituting faith in himself in order to obtain salvation.

Well the reason jesus was found was becuas of judas who had betrayed him bc he just wanted o see if he would bring the angels from heaven to attack te romans to break free from them. then the priests and convicted him guilty for trying to make the people believe he was the " son of God " and had he power to create miracles which the jewish priests believed only god can create miracles and forgive sins. so they had told
convicted him and the punishment was to be tortured and crucified though the wife of the covictor said " i have had a dream this ma is inocent " and she had became a saint. afte juses was crucified he had also died for our sins and when he died Judas and killed himslef bc he felt so bad about what he had done

Jesus was sent to spread the Good News and to die for our sins. That was the purpose of His crucifixion. He was the Lamb who died for all mankind.
The Romans may have carried out the actuial crucifixion.. But the mob of people who were there wanted His death and the release of Barrabas after Pontius Pilate, who had the power to stop His execution, refused to do so and washed his hands of the matter, giving the power of deciding His fate to the angry mob that had gathered, the majority of whom were Jewish. Mobs are notorious for killing people regardless of the nationality of the mob.
It is unfortunate that in this case, they were Jewish since the Jewish people have had to endure the blame of killing Jesus Christ, the Son of God and have been persecuted relentlessly for that action ever since. Jesus Christ forgave them saying, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." For He died for their sins as well as ours.
What was Jesus' crime? He claimed to be the Son of God, the Romans said. And they didn't like His popularity with the people. One of His disciples, Judas, betrayed Him with a kiss.
It has also been asked by many why Jesus didn't just come down from the Cross and refuse to be crucified since the Son of God could've used His mighty power in that way. To come down from the Cross would've been human. And as I said before, He was sent to die for our sins which He did.

Adam sinned. All of us inherited sin from Adam because he could no longer pass on perfection (he didn't have it). Jesus was perfect and in heaven looking down on us had pity and compassion. God and Jesus devised a plan to replace Adam as ancestor for any who would choose to follow him in obedience rather than follow Adam in disobedience. Jesus' perfect life was placed in Mary and kept screened off from her so that her child could be born perfect. During his life on earth, Jesus had to remain perfect (sinless) in order to redeem those who would follow him. He did. Because he had no sin of his own, his perfect life sacrifice could then be given to cover the sinfulness which we inherited from Adam. And it was.
In Jesus' day, the Jewish religious leaders were the only ones who had the holy writings and they added their thoughts into them when they taught the people rather than just teaching what God really said. When Jesus began his ministry, he exposed them as hypocrites and they wanted him dead. So, they misrepresented him and lied about him until they incited the people to believe the worst about him and it worked. Even the Romans believed he was innocent but carried out the will of the priests.
