been there, done that, got the T-Shirt.
and I'm not kidding.
edit: ok, I am kidding about the t-shirt part.
personally I would say that its not impossible. they are there. and they are around. usually the masters are a bit busy though. angels of various sorts are way more "present" than most people can see or admit.

Hm, well, if I were able to stand there and face it without soiling my skivvies over such an extraordinary thing as an Angel or Ascended Master materializing in front of me I suppose I would ask for guidance on my path, and ask to be opened to be able to hear thier advice and guidance more clearly once they have gone back to the other side.
There is always a choice to listen to guidance or not, if that guidance comes from this side or not. The divine voice expresses itself in many ways, it is up to us to be open to listen. Apart from my kidding above, I do believe I have been contacted by guides or teachers from the other side from time to time. If you feel that you have been in the presence of the divine, that is a marvelous and wondrous thing, and whatever you attained through it, something to treasure....
Edit: Um, yeah. If an Angel or Ascended Master materialised in front of me, um, yeah, I think I would pay attention, uh-huh!

Yes, we have the choice to listen or not...however, if an Angel showed themselves to you, would you not imagine that is was for great reason, and that it would be wisest to take heed of their messege? It's not like they do this often, you know. Although we each have many Angels, and a Guide, about us all the time, it is somewhat difficult for them to maintain visible density in our atmosphere here, and would do so only if it were of extreme importance...so if I were you, I'd listen up.

I will likely have mixed feelings: that of joy and that of sorrow. Joy because I really loved to see Him in His glory and sorrow because I have done so many things which doesn't show I'm Christian. But I hope my prayers will be answered when He appears. (actually I'm talking about Christ).
For the Angel I will fear also.

I would probably ask if someone spiked my punch with some lsd. Yet, either way I would probably go along with it and ask some questions. No use in being insane if you can't have some fun with it.

Tell them to wipe their feet (if it's been raining outside) to nevermind the mess, and ask if they would like anything to eat or drink (wouldn't have much, so it wouldn't be much of a choice.)

It would certainly clear a few things up. I wish that these beings would (assuming they exist) be more proactive.
Complacency even in supreme beings is annoying.
