I have found a photograher called barry kay who took a series of portraits of transvestite and transsexuals in australlia in the 1970s but that is all i have found,when i do searches on net i end up with all types of crap!

Try looking up Dianne Arbus, she took a lot of photographs of so called freaks.

New York photographic artist Nan Goldin took a lot of photos in the 1980s of transvestites, don't know about transsexuals.
