Well, I was just thinking about the Scripture at
John 6:44a: "No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him;"
so if Jehovah draws someone, his power is greater than he who is in the world! Honest hearted ones may be drawn, then someone needs to be there for them because we know that Satan hates that and will work over time trying to snatch them away! I think any who are sincerely interested in learning the truth should be encouraged to contact one of Jehovah's Witnesses right away for spiritual support and for an indepth Bible study to help strengthen them...and so that they can continue to take in that vital accurate knowledge that leads to everlasting life. At this time in the world, we really need the support and companionship of the brothers and sisters! This is no time to be left on our own! If we are drowning in the SEA we need others to throw us the life jacket and others to help pull us to shore and maybe even others to administer life support! We are a family and that means that we work together for the common good! I hope that anyone who might be interested in learning about the truth will seek out the Kingdom Halls in their area and ask for more information! Then they can see what a loving and caring family Jehovah has on earth! And they can gain the needed spiritual support of the brothers and sisters!
1 Peter 5:8; "Keep YOUR senses, be watchful. YOUR adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour [someone]."
We need all the spiritual help, encouragement and inspiration that we can get, and we get that by being with each other! That especially includes those who are being drawn at this very moment!
I also hope that any honest hearted ones that are being drawn will go to their local Kingdom Halls this Sunday for the special talk..."You Can Feel Safe in This Troubled World"
The talk that is being given world wide April 15th!

Yes I do! Many things that we are criticized for, such as not celebrating holidays, not taking blood... have you noticed how many are coming to grips with the truth of the matter on their own and realizing that we are the ones that have been following the bible council. If they are searching and have an honest heart, they will be drawn to Jehovah.
Those who criticize or spread lies about us, their motives or true colors are very apparent.
I took my old Revelation book last week to the meeting and notice the number of witnesses in 87 was 3 million something. We have double since then. So even if some fall away, many do come back. I have three in my family that are working on getting reinstated. There were 10 million non witnesses at the memorial last year and over 6 million bible studies being conducted. Satan is not winning!

Just look at the worldwide report and you will see that his attempts are indeed futile. He knows that he has already lost the war, but that does not stop him from battling and winning small victories in turning people away from the truth. Look at the number who must be disfellowshiped from the Christian congregation every year for immorality. Look at those who have gone out from us because "they were not of our sort"(1John 2:19) Many of these have found a home on the internet where they spread their propaganda. Honest-hearted individuals are still drawn to the truth. Jehovah of course is drawing them and the "desirable things" are coming in. (John 6:44, Haggai 2:6) I am always impressed by these "desirable things." Getting to know my Christian brothers and sisters makes me know that they are indeed "desirable" and I feel privileged to be counted among them.
johnusmaximus1, I truly understand why your conscience dictates that you no longer answer religious questions here. We all must be on guard against bad association; especially the kind that identifies itself with the "evil slave" by their actions. Some of these seem to frequent this site also and it is difficult to ignore their rantings at times.
At the same time, my prayer is that Jehovah will direct honest hearted individuals to the truth by whatever legitimate means available. I remember Joseph of Arimathea who was a secret disciple of Jesus. I beleive that many secretly wish to know more about our faith. Fear of how they will be viewed by family, friends or neighbors prevents them. These can learn some Bible truths through the internet. Whenever possible we should direct people to Jehovah's Organization. For me, the internet has been a way of following the directive at Ecclesiates 11:6:In the morning sow your seed and until the evening do not let your hand rest; for you are not knowing where this will have success, either here or there, or whether both of them will alike be good. Have a joyful month pioneering! If my health permitted it, my primary way of sowing seed would be in the door to door ministry. My thoughts and prayers are always with you who are out though. Hopefully, very soon, I can return to my regular schedule.

"As for the righteous one, to time indefinite he will not be caused to stagger" (Poverbs 10:30)
If a person has the right heart condition, Jehovah has the power and ability to bring him into the truth. So even when people "lyingly say every wicked thing" against God's people it only serves to publish God's name, Jehovah.
But as for me, I have decided that this is my last visit to Yahoo! answers. Really, none of Jehovah's Witnesses should be found on here because "bad association spoils usefull habits" and "I have not sat with men of untruth". Although it is fun to answer people's Bible based questions, let's do it in our door-to-door minstry that we were commissioned to do. Jehovah will bless our efforts there.
As much time as I've spent on here, I could be pioneering. So, I'm gonna hang up my keyboard from Yahoo! Answers and Auxiliary Pioneed this month. After all, this place could be considered a chat room in a way and we've been counseled about that. We should really stop coming here, that is why this is my last answer. See you all on the other side of the tribulation.

Satan will always be able to mislead some people but God's purpose will never fail and we can help others to see the lies in Satan's reasoning. Jehovah does not give up on seeking out right-hearted ones and neither should we.

In the short term, no, not always. In the long term yes. Those who choose to believe unverified things simply because they hear it or read it online, are likely to believe most anything. However, as Christians we know that Jehovah would never let honest hearted ones be ignored just because they don't know any better. Jesus warned that as Satan's time is short he is like a Roaring Lion. But that he and his father care for all humans.
Until death or the end of this system, ALL have the chance to turn away from their sinful course. The Bible is full of accounts of people who did terrible things who changed turned away from their sinful course and came to know and love and serve Jehovah.

I think that if satan can get to ones in the congragation who are already there and are strong in the truth and can make them turn away then ones who are trying to come in the truth he will work extra hard on them. An all of the false reports on the internet about us Jehovahs Witnesses is just one of the many ways he trys to stumble people who do truely love Jehovah

His attempts are proving to be very futile indeed!
Even though many leave the truth, the number keeps growing! That shows right there, that not only are his attempts futile, but that we need to be ever more zealous about the preaching & teaching work.
I know for one, I'm looking forward to the upcoming District Convention: "Follow the Christ!" That should be so encouraging. And the drama - I always love that!
But yes sister, you are right. So we must keep our sense of urgency and help others also to grasp the truth as the end draws ever closer!
Love you all! (((((SMILE)))))
