Seriously tho; how long have you been together? has your relationship had to endure any "tests" or hardships? Do you work well together? Can the two of you fight "fair"? Have you maintained your sense of humor or "become" someone else?
Weigh it all out and if you are truly satisfied with all the answers, then consider the next step, ask him what he sees in his future, what his plans are and maybe you can get a clue as to what he is thinking. Or come right out and ask him if you feel "comfortable" enough.
