those r stupid cars going round and round....
i don't see any fun in it!
if u r watching f1 .....stay by it......

There is a competition in the sport that thrives today.In history of the automobile there has been bragging rights,my car is faster,or my make car is better.This continues today with NASCAR.
My driver is better than yours,or my make car is better.
Then throw in the speed and action both on the track and in the pits this makes an excitement to enjoy.
Bottom line there is a competition of man verses machine and man verses man.To like NASCAR is to enjoy the competitive sport.
That's all I have to say about that.

It's not all about Turning left and Rednecks. Those are just the fun stuff!! Hahaha! I like Nascar because I do. Going to a race is great, it's always better to go to an actualy event than to watch it on TV, just like Baseball.

I think its for several reasons.
1.It is seen as individual sport with one very prominent member, making it easier for people to connect with him.
2. The drivers arent 6'5" or run 4.2 fortys, they seem like just average guys, making it even easier to connect or relate to them.
3. The entire sport revolves around something nearly everyone loves, SPEED, everybody wants to go fast, be it running, or sledding, bicycling. Think when you were younger you wanted to beat your friend racing.
4. Some like it for the crashes, which is kind of morbid but hey, whatever.
5. I like it because its a mix of power and finesse. Controlled Chaos, cars flying around tracks at 180 mph and faster, an inch from the car next to them with the one behind them beating their bumper off, and being able to control it.
6. Even Beyonce loves Nascar....

The competition is unparalleled over ANY form of motorsport in the world. In any one race, there is at least ten guys that can win it and it usually comes down to the very end. Of course, there's the tight, door-to-door action and the threat of a major crash at every corner, but it's the way these guys escape trouble that is truly amazing.

One of the dumbest questions ever.... Why do people like baseball, or hockey, or figure skating, or soccer, or golf, or tennis or WHATEVER! You can have this debate about ANY sport/competition!! Some people like it, some hate it, some love it, some could care less! Its competition is thrilling to many people, if your not one then DON'T WATCH IT! I don't like soccer, but you don't see me goin around asking a retarded question like "Y do ppl like soccer?! tell me please!"
