Because it was man who created god.

The Bible also says that we have a free will. God does not force us or cause us to do anything (James 1:13-14). We are completely responsible for our own actions (Romans 3:19; 6:23; 9:19-21). How these facts work together is impossible for a finite mind to comprehend (Romans 11:33-36)

The fact is that we were all created to know and see God but this was prevented by the sin of Adam and Eve who were the first representitives of Humanity,had they stayed faithful then the world as we know it would be totally different, after the fall people chose to use their talents and will to worship themselves and false gods and so by this deliberate sinning they put up a barrier between themselves and God and lived in spiritual darkness,so people themselves made the free choice not to believe, but the fact remains that God created us to see and believe.

No doubt God exists. He created Adam who believed -Adam failed and because we are his descendants we too were born in the spirit of unbelieving in God. Thats why Jesus had to come to reconcile us back to God and now
its up to us to decide if we want to go back and believe in him or not. Our unbelieving can never proove that God doesn't exist.

God created people with the ability to choose. With choice comes responsability and the option to respond to God by either accepting or rejecting him. also without this choice love would be impossible. Love can only be given voluntarily and so for us to love God we must be given the option of not loving him.
The fact that he allows people not to believe in him shows how much he respects us and loves us.

Faith is proven through adversity, grace proven through doubt. If everyone believed in God, and in the same God, how could you prove the conviction of your faith, how could you display that you are actually adhering to the teachings?
By what measure do you know the strength of your house: by the calm amid which it sits, or by the storm by which it passes through? Even atheists serve God when they choose not to believe, for it is God that has made them not believe.

God didnt create people like robots.he created people who can make thier own choice and can do thier own thing.I agree the person above people who didnt belive God make thier choice not to, which is we have to.
