My mother is 41 years old, and she is in good health, but she does have a past, heart murmor.
She is experiencing SUDDEN shartp tingly, pain in her left arm, and she feels pain hitting her in the upper back as well...
she says her left arm and especially her left hand, feels SO COLD on the INSIDE of her body...she feels like someone is twisting her arm on the inside, and she is in alot of pain. she felt slightly nauseated while this was going on as well, but it wasnt as significantly noticable or bothersom, as the cold/pain in her left arm/hand....
any doctors ever heard of anything like this? is this serious that i should take her to the emergency room tonite? im mostly worried about anything stroke, or heart attack related...are these symptoms or possibilties? i am really worried please, i just need real MEDICAL answers, doctors, nurses..please....

If she is in a lot of pain and distressed, take her to the emergency room. She should probably be checked out by your family doctor today even if she isn't very distressed.
This does not sound typical for heart attacks or strokes but these things can present atypically.
It does not sound particularly typical for anything.
It could be something quite benign like anxiety. It could represent something quite debilitating like something wrong with her neck or spine in the area to do with the arm.
It could represent something life threatening like a heart problem or a problem to do with the blood supply to the arm (an aortic dissection).
She should be checked out.

I can see from what you have written that your mom has the classic sign and symptoms of a heart attack. If this happens again, call the ambulance immediately so that your mom will be given prompt treatment. Driving her to the hospital may be too late if she is having a real heart attack.
FYI signs and symptoms of heart attack are the following:
-central chest pain that radiates to the arm, jaw and back. In some instances the pain can be like an indigestion pain or heartburn. Pain that is relieve by GTN or nitroglycerin spray or tablet
-nausea and vomiting
-cold sweat
-lightheaded

You ARE joking, right??? As the arteries contract the blood pressure is rising in these areas causing the heart to work harder to force the blood thru. Kind of a vicious little circle. Or, the arteries in the neck may be slightly blocked and trying to borrow the pressure needed to feed the brain from the left arm. Either way, stroke or heart failure, or possibly the lungs may fail... I forgot, did you say you like your mother???

Get her to a hospital or call her doctor asap. Don't fool around with pains that could be related to the heart or circulation.

Hello go to ER for a diagnosis NOW! Or drive to her Doctor's office. I would take my mom to ER though.

I have heart decease (for the past 17 years). I delayed going to the hospital when I was in severe discomfort. It almost cost me my life.
I don't know if mom has any of the conditions you're describing..... but...... this is no time to guess.
