place to seek real answers or take things to heart? Maybe at best, you may have 20 percent on here that you can take to heart or really consider as information to be gleaned. So why all the hoopla?

I must have missed the hoopla!!! LOL You are absolutely right you should glean what you can an throw the rest out.
I feel like there are people reporting me because I am so outspoken. I do not mean to hurt peoples feelings but I think there are some people who do take this to heart, so I'm trying to tone it down a notch. LOL

I come to learn from others.I had no clue so many didn't love God.I was blown away by the hateful people,so mean about Jesus.
But , I must say ,I have found some great people here.So many great ideals.Wonderful Christians to fellowship with.
Very nice people ,from every walk of life.

I get good explanations to biblical questions and Christian living from quite a few in here...and I've also learned a few things about Jews and Muslims that I didn't know before....the rest is just cat fighting...serves no purpose other than something to do. I like to make atheist think I give a crap about there opinions too...that's always fun!

It's just a place to visit when you're bored. There are some good questions and answers, especially the ones asking for a good recipe for a particular dish. I don't think anyone takes the answers for their questions seriously, they only want to see what people will say. The same goes for your question.

People are curious, some like to reach out to others, get opinions, and some are like you, here for the entertainment value.
And you never know, someone may really have a viable answer.

The fact that you asked either means you do believe you'll get a quality answer (thus blowing your hypothesis) or you're asking a rhetorical question (thus we're duly insulted). However, you're correct. Some of the questions are nothing short of unnecessarily insulting, and at least 80% of the answers are best skipped.

I'm not seeing a lot of "hoopla" here. Lots of trolls and people spreading disinformation, but there are some serious people, too. I enjoy speaking to and hearing from them, not the trolls.

Some people are here to answer legit questions
Some people are here to state their opinions.
Some people are here to promote or stop ignorance.
Some people are here to vent their frustrations
Some people are here because they enjoy pissing people off anonymously
Some people are here for several of the above reasons.
