I don't have my parents support and i still live in their house. i'll be off to college in another year and will be able to make my own meals. i've tried talking to my parents in everyway and they just will not have it. i'm lactose intolerant so any pure milk products i've already ousted from my diet. what are some easy vegan recipies with ingredients i can find in a normal grocery store?
I'm trying to eat 1-2 vegan meals per day for now and maybe if i can show my parents that i can handle it they'll understand. thank you so much!

You could try stir-fry vegetables with tofu...

Spinach salad with walnuts and raspberry vinegarette

Baked potato with spicy black beans on top and salsa

Quinoa with black beans and salsa (a recent favorite of mine, though I'm not vegan and I add cheese)

Also Chili's has a black bean burger a vegan friend of mine eats, also bean burritos & tacos (minus cheese).

Do a web search of vegan recipies and see what comes up. Good luck!

Being a vegan approach utilising no animal merchandise whatever, adding eggs, milk, leather-based footwear, and so on. A vegetarian is a individual who does not devour meat however eats eggs, beverages milk, wears leather-based footwear, and so on. And there's no vegan red meat. If a corporation is promoting vegan red meat, they imply this can be a red meat replacement created from matters vegans can devour, like tofu.

I think there are serious repercussions to completely cutting out animal fat in our diets. There is a book I would challenge you to read in your decision making process. It is a cook book called nourishing traditions written by Dr. Sally Fallon. Either way it is your choice, but for your health I implore you to get this book. Good luck with college.

i am a vegetarian thinking of going vegan, and my parents dont support me, but i dont care. its my life, my diet, and im only 15! it will be a little hard to go vegan but i think its a good idea. im going to try it soon. you dont need them to approve though! they cant force you to do anything, just dont be irrational about it. be as mature as you can about it, and tell them that if they dont let you, you'll just winde up doing it anyway and that it will be much easier and healthier for you if they help you out.
