I have the following symptoms: I have had upper respiratory problems all my life to varying degrees. Sometimes I will be feeling ok then rather suddenly I will have a pain in my chest, not heart related, my heart starts beating faster, I feel light headed or slightly dizzy, shakey ( sometimes ), feel like I can't breathe, get a slight head ache and sometimes a neck ache. and feel somewhat conjested. Do you have any idea what could be the cause of this? I had some of these symptoms only worse and went to the ER. They did cat scans, mri's, blood test, ekg's, etc and didn't give me a diagnosis, just said it wasn't heart related. Help!!!!

it could be anxiety, or asthma, or allergies, or all of them...I use to get the same thing..until I learned to control it...I have all 3.

Probably psychosomatic. Is something worrying you? See a psychiatrist.

Well if the hospital didn't help, go see a GP!
