I'm wearing green for my wedding and I WANTED my bridesmaids to wear white. I can't seem to find any white bridesmaids dresses, so I began searching for prom dresses. Now, I found TONS of those in white but they all look a little... eh, "hooker"-ish? I just want my ladies to be cute and comfortable, not to look like street walkers! Where can I find plain white dresses that are semi-fancy and don't have huge holes cut out on the stomach and giant push up pads in the chest?!?

I was looking for a shorter, maybe knee-length. Something a classy but maybe more casual...
and all you people talkin' smack... YOUR bridesmaids might not wear white... but mine will.

Try ebay. They have many stores on ebay. I found a dress that I really like from their and it was only 150 dollars and they have many sizes and they also have a size chart so you can look at. Davids Bridal is another good website to buy a dress and what ever else your wedding needs are. I bought all of my braids-maids dresses and my wedding dress from their. My friend had to pay a little more for her dress because she is a plus size. Which is about 10-20 dollars more. Also Cinderella's closet has very pretty white dresses, but they are prom dresses you need to get an actual wedding dress. Good luck to you.

Also try looking up special occasion dresses. White is very much customary for communion dresses, graduation dresses. Try using ebay to search for those instead of bridesmaid dresses.

Also search for destination wedding dresses. Bridal dresses that tend to be less formal look more like a bridesmaid dress.

usually if you find a bridesmaid dress that you like you can check to see if it comes in white. I know that my bridesmaid dresses came in white. Go to like a davids bridal that should be the best place.

You might want to go to a high-end department store instead of a prom/bridal shop. They can usually order the dresses for you in the sizes you need. There are lots of beautiful white evening gowns.

I've seen MANY dresses like that at JC Penny, or Deb.......pretty much check out department stores, because you might not be able to find just what you are wanting at a Bridal store.....and, to save money, wait till the end of April, and you could probably find them on clearance!!!

There are alot of places in Chicago its called the Belmont boutique on Belmont. I got my dress there and my bridesmaids dresses too! very classy and cute!

Dillards gets in prom dresses that are tasteful and usually has a lot to choose from in white.

Most bridesmaids dresses do come in white, you have to special order them though. You might have to order them in ivory--which is close enough. Actually, I just checked, Alfred Angelo bridesmaids dresses can be ordered in white. Here's a link to their website:
