Im almost 6'3 and i find it awkward around girls because most of them are way smaller than me. I know there is a saying woman like taller guys but i am yet to find this the case. Its as though they say to themselves "That guy is too tall for me" and dont bother with me. Please be honest and dont just say that its the inner personality etc thats important because ive heard that 1000 times. Please be truthful. Thanks.

I think some guys are (and I think some girls are uncomfortable around shorter guys...I think it has something to do with where their eye level is :- P) but I'm not intimidated by tall girls at all. I think it has something to do with the fact that I spent a lot of time around basketball players from about 6th grade on :- D

I like taller guys. The guy I like is like 6'3''. It makes me feel protected. Some girls do find it intimidating, but there are girls that like the heighth difference. It is the fact that he can hold her and she knows she is safe. You will find the perfect girl out there that loves how tall you are.

Not as far as I have seen. My husband was 6'7", I have a 24 yr old son who is 6'6" and a 22yr old son who is 6'4". My husbands height was the first thing that attacked me to him, and believe me when I tell you that my boys where never lacking any dates is high school. (both married now)
It may be that you are just at an awkward age or better yet the girls are!! lol Hang in there, you'll see.

The girl would hav 2 be shallow to care but anyways...
I'm bout 6 foot and i think it shows that the girl trusts the guy to protect her if they go out with a tall guy.
Cuz they are intimidating NOT to girls but to guys who want to "Move in on ur territory" so to speak.
If a girl goes out with shorter guy they dont care bout being protected.
That is fine with some.
I have a crush on a girl only 1 cm shorter than me and have almost managed the sataus of "Going out" with her but we dont care bout height.(Well she does, she hates being tall but I dont mind.
id say find a girl bout THE SAME HEIGHT like I did, become friends with them.
If sparks fly, let them.
If not, u still have a good friend in them.

I'm 6'3" and medium build. If I ever intimidate a woman, it is with my mind, not my size. A smart woman, any size, will intimidate an ignorant man, no matter how big he is. Stand tall and be yourself. Girls like guys that are comfortable with whom they are INSIDE, not just what they inherited from their parents!

You can't judge what they are thinking.The problem may be in how you approach them.I am being trueful and a little bit of formality in how you ask them to go out with you is important.
They have got to feel safe in your company.You might get a surprise by asking tall girls to go out.There are plenty of them around.

I for one, love tall guys. I know plenty of women that do also. Sounds like you are having self esteem problems, not height problems. Go to the library. There are books on how to build your self-esteem. You will be a better person, and you will enjoy life a lot more.

No, I am 5'5 and 6'2 doesn't seem too tall for me....although skinnier guys look taller than the built muscular tall guys.
