You didn't say if she has a weight loss problem or not but if that's the issue then she's suffering from a condition known as Anorexia ,,,, If you want to know more about it then just type Anorexia in the white search box and you will be able to learn everything there is about ,,,, This is a complicated problem and can turn very serious if it's allowed to go too far ,,,, People have died from this condition ,,,, It's nothing you or her boyfriend are qualified to handle ,,,, This is predominently a feminine problem but there have been a few males diagnosed with the same condition ,,,, It's just not near as prevelent in males as it is in females ,,,,
She definitely needs professional help and maybe even group therapy depending on how severe it is ,,,, It's as much a mental dissorder as it is a physical problem ,,,, The reasons or causes for this condition may very between patients but the symptoms are the same and generally the treatment for it is the same also ,,,, Talks with the therapist deals with the mental aspects of the condition ,,,,
Common symptoms include serious weight loss of course ,,,, Sometimes the person will cut themselves ,,,, nothing serious just little nicks hear and there ,,,, Another one is that the person will purge after eating ,,,, She won't allow food on her stomach long enough for it to do the body any good ,,,,
Try to talk to her ,,,, Try to convince her that she needs professional help ,,,, Half the battle is won when a person finally realizes they need help and agree to get it ,,,,
If you and her boyfriend really care about her then you have some serious thinking to do and a decision to make If she refuses to cooperate ,,,,
If she will not listen to either one of you and refuses to get the help she needs then it's time to consider reporting this situation to her parents ,,,, Both of you tell her that you are willing to stick by her through this ,,,, But I wouldn't wait just too long to talk to her parents ,,,, If they don't know about what's going on then I'm sure they will appreciate you telling them ,,,, Once the body starts to decline then it can turn serious or critical fast ,,,, The further gone she is the harder it's going to be to get her back and the harder it will be on her all the way around ,,,,
I'm speaking from experience when I say she might be upset with the both of you for a while but once she's on an even keel again she will realize that your intentions was just to see to it she got the proper help she needed ,,,, In my situation it was the therapist that convinced her that I was very worried and scared for her and I was only trying to help when I informed her parents of what was going on ,,,, Once she came around and finally started speaking to me again we wound up being even closer than we were before ,,,, The whole situation seemed to strengthen our relationship because we were sharing this serious and very personal problem with each other ,,,, I let her know that I understood what was going on and that I didn't think ill of her for it ,,,, I always made sure I reminded her of that ,,,, The parents were also very greatful to me for bringing this to their attention ,,,,
This might be tuff on you and her boyfriend for a while but it's better to have her alive and mad at you for a while than it would be having her dead buried and gone for ever ,,,, Death is a very permanent thing ,,,, Once a person dies there's no getting them back but I'm sure you know that ,,,,
This is a very good question covering a very serious and dangerous issue ,,,, I gave you a star for it ,,,, Good luck with this ,,,, Stick to your guns ,,,, Her life may depend on it and stay focused on what you need to do ,,,,
Yoda said so ,,,,
