My mom says he knows about me. I found him on myspace and added him. 3 days later I said "hey, do I look familiar? thanks for the add btw". He then deleted me from his friends. 12 hours later he responded to the msg and said "no you don't look familiar. do i know you?"
What is he thinking? Maybe he doesn't see our resemblance?

Sweetie, some men are dumb asses. Most wont notice even if it bit them in the nose. Give him the benefit of the doubt but since you really want to know tell him flat out. If he doesn't respond, then you know he deleted you because he knew. One advice though, when you tell him, also tell him you have no intention on disturbing his life, that you just wanted to know if he knew who you were. If he ignores you, then good riddance to bad rubbish. On the other hand, he may want to get to know you better. Are you ready for that? What do you want out of this? What do you want the outcome to be?
Think all these things before you act on it. Make sure you reeeeally want to know the answers.

He is probably wondering if you are somebody just messing around...you know, like a prank or something. If he hasn't had any pics of you to know what you would look like then I don't imagine that he would just automatically know who you are. I would suggest to come right out and tell him rather than beating around the bush about it. I am sure he would be glad to get to know you ;). Good luck sweetie and God bless.

He might be thinking that he's going to get sued for paternity support; there might be other things going on that you don't know about. You may have fantasies about the happy life you'll have, and that might not be something he's capable of.
