It first felt like a spider bite. Now it is very painful. does this mean I am diabetic? and if so what do I do? where do I go from here? do I need shots? I am so scared. I put gauze on it, and then a big band-aid, and then I wrap it with a big wrap, like you would on a sprain. Every ,morning, I change the dressing. and re-apply. I clean it out with soap and hot water,, and re apply; Continue, Re-Apply... What can I do next for it to stop???? Plz help me!!! It Hurts so much.. I have many health problems, I don't want another. Am I a diabetic now too?

It sounds like you have leg ulcers. These can be caused by a number of things, including diabetes, although with diabetes they are usualy prevelant on the feet rather than the legs.

See here:

Hope this helps, and sorry you're not well!

I don't know where you live, but in southern California there is a really small spider in the inland empire that looks kind of furry like a tarantula that when it bites you, the bite becomes infected just like you said. It requires antibiotics and sometimes needs to be lanced. I have had this happen twice now. Once on my arm and once on my stomach. Both were very painful. Feel for you I really do. but it doesn't necessarily mean you have diabetes. Go ahead and go to the Dr. before it gets any worse.

If you are still having drainage and it is painful, then you need to see a Doctor. No one can diagnose this except a Dr. No one wants another health problem, but it isn't wise to not find out what is going on. good luck.

Please go to the doctor right away. Try to keep your leg elevated above your heart tonight, that might help. Good luck!
