i'm trying to connect my xbox 360 to my hdtv, wirelessly, using the component video outputs! I need to run the audio as well. some of the equipment i'm finding is awfully expensive! i'm not expecting it to be cheap, but not $300 (some upwards of $1000)! for that price i might as well buy a new system. any thrifty solutions would be appreciated!

Sending uncompressed video over wireless is not going to be cheap and the distance will be very short.

Standard 802.11a/b/g can't handle more than 15 Mbit/s.
There are wireless HDMI or component video options that use UltraWide band, but you might as well connect the xbox with cables!

It is more practical to connect the xbox to your PC via your wireless router and use it as a media extender.
