The Presence of God is very unique and undescribable. It is beautiful, pleasant, and it feels very intimate. When it comes upon you sometimes and pain and sickness in your body goes away immediately. Sometimes it falls on you lightly and sometimes it can be poured on you so heavy you are drunk with it. And sometimes when you leaved out of the Presence of God, you walk with anointing all over you and it feels awesome. If you are saved just ask God to allow you into His Presence and wait for Him to come to you.

You can feel it at anytime anywhere. Just as I am typing this suggestion, I am also trying to feel for his wisdom to guide me in answering your questions.
God is a gentleman. He won't enter your mind or interrupted your thoughts if you have no intention to talk to him. However, as you concentrate on talking to him, trying to find him, he will definately answer you and let you feels his love for you. As the bible says: "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be open to you." (Matthew 7:7)
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:8
Therefore, there is no formula in finding him. There are a lot of ways to find him. Although reading the bible is the most common way to do so.
When I have questions, I will concentrate in listening to his voice.

First read the HOLY BIBLE then PRAY to HIM. HIM ONLY. not to the death people., like saith. I hope that you already accepted JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR.
