i have tried all the major p2p programs like like limewire, kazza lite, i am using trusty files at the moment, while it works ok, the downloads take for ever, and you need to try hundreds of results for a good one. is there another way of downloading music and video

uTorrent is always fast for me...
You might try DC++ here:

It takes a bit to get the hang of it, but I used to use it exclusively.
