this question is so up for debate its not even funny. There are vitamin regimens that you can buy that cost hundreds of dollars & guarantee that they will make your hair grow, but bottom line there are no vitamins scientifically proven to make a persons hair grow. There are however so many different kinds of vitamins that you can take for hair growth that it is hard to choose. Since i wondered the same thing a while ago myself, as in, is the $300/month package worth buying or will the $8 bottle from Henry's work just as well, I did a little research. What i found out is that the most important thing in growing your hair is water and a healthy diet. Bottom line, those pill bottles promise us a miracle, which is good marketing, but the only thing that will really work is you drinking enough water, trimming regularly and getting all of your nutrients. That being said, from what i can tell hair vitamins only give you an extra dose of specific nutrients to help, they dont actually make your hair grow. For what its worth I take some (Henry's brand thx:) and notice healthier hair, but i havent seen any miracles. Now if you want to buy the $65/mo or $300/mo bottles, please let me know if you have any great results. one thing i noticed to make my hair shine was water, lots of water. And brushing from the roots daily to get the oils down the strand. Trimming regularly is also key. good luck!

Vitamins are essential for proper hair growth. For healthy sebum in the scalp we require vitamin A. Graying and loss of hair is arrested with the intake of Vitamin B6 and B12. Keratin is produced by Biotin and hair follicles are kept healthy by inositol. Panthothenic acid and Para-amino benzoic acids are also beneficial. These vitamins are present in fruits such as lemon, pineapple and strawberry and in vegetables such as potato.

Put the yoke of a raw egg on dry hair/scalp for about 15-20 mins, and rinse with luke-warm water. Your hair/scalp will absorb all the protein and natural oil making your hair healthier with a healthy shine.
